Elemco was founded in Massachusetts in 1969 and progressively expanded the services offered and territory served.  The Company commenced operations in the New York Metropolitan Area in 1976 and opened a branch office in Bohemia, New York in 1978, which became corporate headquarters shortly thereafter.

 

In May of 2010, the partnership of Brian Kay and Bob Amabile purchased Elemco; and with a seamless transition continue to operate the company still delivering the same quality service Elemco has always provided under a new corporation named Elemco Services, Inc.

 

Now, with over 40 years of Electrical and Energy Industry experience, Elemco has developed into a full-service electrical testing, engineering and maintenance company.  The Company provides these services to:

As active members of the International Electrical Testing Association (NETA), the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), and with labor agreements in IBEW Locals 3, 25, and 1049, the Company continues to set the standard for customer service and quality commitment.
